Product description
Anti-glare beacon, blade only
Anti-glare beacons are fitted in a row on the barrier that separates the two directions of traffic. Their job is to stop the headlights of oncoming cars before they reach the driver's eyes, especially at night on motorways, expressways and dual carriageways.
Size and material
Each blade is 90 cm tall, 22 cm wide and 5 cm thick, and weighs 2.7 kg. It is made of green HDPE with ribs running its full length, and it bolts to the barrier at the bottom.
No mounting system
This version comes without fixings. It makes sense when:
- you are replacing broken blades on a barrier that already has the brackets fitted;
- the barrier is not a metal one and you use the fixings that suit it;
- you already have the fixings from an earlier order.
With mounting included
If you are fitting to a metal barrier and have no fixings, take the ATD A901, the same beacon supplied with the mounting system for metal barriers.
