Economy material cones
The economy series is made of PE (polyethylene): low price, low weight and matt colours. The cones are made of flexible, weather-resistant plastic and are chosen when you need many of them, for example for a works crew or a large car park.
Cones with a standard base
- V6-50R2E – 48.3 cm, 28 cm octagonal base, 0.9 kg;
- V6-70R2E – 71.3 cm, 38 cm octagonal base, 1.6 kg;
- V6-90R2E – 90 cm, 38 cm octagonal base, 2.2 kg.
Cones with a weighted base
- V6-50AR2E – 48.3 cm, 38 cm hexagonal base, 2.3 kg;
- V6-70AR2E – 70 cm, 48 cm hexagonal base, 4.35 kg;
- V6-90AR2E – 90 cm, 48 cm hexagonal base, 5.95 kg.
All the orange cones have 2 honeycomb reflective bands.
How many cones
For a 40 m diversion with a cone every 4 m, you need 11 cones. In 70 cm PE that means 17.6 kg; the same 11 cones with a weighted base weigh almost 48 kg, but stay put in wind.
Marker cones
The V6-50E is the red 50 cm marker cone, 0.95 kg, for occasional marking. The V6-50EA is the same cone on a 38 cm black weighted base and weighs 2.4 kg.
Economy or premium
At the same height, the PE cone is lighter than the PVC one, for example 1.6 kg against 2.3 kg at 70 cm. For brighter colours, see the premium material cones, or the whole range of traffic cones. We deliver in 1-3 working days.
