? Frequently asked questions

What types of priority signs exist?

There are several types of priority signs, including those that signal stop, yield, priority road, and end of priority road. Each type has a specific role in organizing road traffic.

How do I choose the correct size of the sign?

The size of the sign depends on its location and the volume of traffic. Generally, larger signs are recommended for busy roads, while smaller ones may be sufficient in residential areas.

What standards must priority signs comply with?

Priority signs must comply with national standards, such as STAS SR 1848, which regulate the dimensions, colors, and materials used. These standards ensure proper visibility and durability.

Where can priority signs be placed?

Priority signs are placed at intersections, at the entrance to priority roads, or in areas where clarification of right of way is necessary. It is important that they are visible and not obstructed by other elements.

What is the lifespan of a priority sign?

The lifespan of a priority sign depends on the material it is made of and environmental conditions. Quality signs made from durable materials can have a lifespan of several years, but it is recommended to check them periodically to ensure visibility.

Legal guarantee of conformity

The official European Union notice on the legal guarantee of conformity for goods bought by consumers. It explains the rights the law gives you; it is not an additional guarantee offered by ATTO TRAFIC.

Official EU notice “Legal guarantee”: minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. The full text is available below.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
