? Frequently asked questions

What types of warning signs are there?

There are several types of warning signs, including those for curves, narrowed roads, bumps, and hazardous road conditions. Each type is designed to inform drivers about a specific danger, thus contributing to road safety.

How to choose the appropriate warning signs?

The choice of appropriate signs depends on the type of danger you want to signal, the size needed for visibility, the material they are made of, and their placement. It is important to comply with safety standards to ensure the effectiveness of the signaling.

What are the standard dimensions for warning signs?

The standard dimensions for warning signs vary depending on the type of sign. For example, many of our signs are 70 cm in size, but there are also larger signs, such as those measuring 150x50 cm. It is essential to choose the appropriate size to ensure optimal visibility.

Where can warning signs be placed?

Warning signs can be placed in various locations, such as before dangerous curves, on narrowed roads, or in areas with bumps. Correct placement is crucial to ensure that drivers have time to react to the indicated dangers.

What standards must warning signs comply with?

Warning signs must comply with national and international safety standards, such as STAS SR 1848. These standards ensure that the signs are visible, durable, and effective in communicating essential information for road safety.

Legal guarantee of conformity

The official European Union notice on the legal guarantee of conformity for goods bought by consumers. It explains the rights the law gives you; it is not an additional guarantee offered by ATTO TRAFIC.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
