PPC speed bumps are the light option: a 50 cm piece weighs 3.5 kg, against 8 kg for a rubber one of the same size. They are easy to carry, quick to fit and easy to see, because they come in black or yellow and are alternated in the row.
The models
- ATZ 50250 – 33 x 25 x 5 cm, 1.5 kg, 6 red cat's eyes, for 10 km/h, 3 pieces per metre. End cap: ATZ 50251.
- ATZ 50500 – 50 x 50 x 4.5 cm, 3.5 kg, 8 red cat's eyes, for 20 km/h, 2 pieces per metre. End cap: ATZ 50501.
How they join
The bumps and end caps are separate parts that slot into one another. The edges are rounded and the surface is smooth, with lines engraved on top. Each piece is fixed with anchors and bolts included in the box, and the price shown is per piece.
Alternating colours
A black-yellow-black row stands out from a distance by day. At night, the red cat's eyes on the sides turn the row into a line of red dots in the headlights. When ordering, work out how many pieces of each colour you need, caps included.
