Mechanical parking locks, with key or padlock

A parking lock is a metal device anchored into the ground: you raise it to block the space and lower it when you want to park. It is the simplest way to keep a space that belongs to you free, without arguments with neighbours and without an expensive barrier system.

Every model in this category is mechanical and manually operated: no motor, no batteries and no mains power. The body is electrostatically painted steel – yellow on most models, red RAL 3020 on the ATZ M604A foldable lock.

Key or padlock?

The practical difference is what you carry. The ATZ M601A and the spherical ATZ M603A have the key lock fitted at the factory – you open them with a key you can copy for family or for the building manager. The ATZ M602A and ATZ M604A close with a padlock bought separately, which you can swap for a stronger one at any time. The Premium ATE 22210 comes with a padlock and 3 keys in the box.

How low they fold

Every lock lies flat on the ground when you want to park, and the car drives over it. What differs is the folded height: 6 cm on the spherical model, 8 cm on the ATZ M604A and the Premium, 9 cm on the ATZ M601A and ATZ M602A.

Installation

They fix straight onto concrete or asphalt with the anchors and bolts in the box: 3 fixing points on the ATZ M601A, ATZ M602A and Premium, 4 on the spherical model and 6 on the ATZ M604A. On the ATZ models the anchors are Ø16×90 mm and the bolts Ø10×110 mm. You need a hammer drill and a spanner. For busy car parks, the Premium model has a Ø5 cm post with a 2 mm wall.

Where they are used

Residential and allocated parking spaces, apartment block courtyards, office car parks, showrooms and commercial premises where a space must be reserved for customers or deliveries.
