A marker cone is the plain red and white cone you move from one spot to another as often as you need. Use it to mark out a temporary route, close an entrance to a yard or show where not to go in a car park or a garage workshop. There are two versions, both nominally 50 cm (48.3 cm measured), made of PPC, with 2 white bands with red dots.
The difference shows outdoors. The V6-50E is picked up with one hand and packed away quickly, but wind can blow it over. The V6-50EA weighs two and a half times as much and does not tip at the first touch.
It has an open Ø35 mm thread on top, with no loop, which takes a plastic sign, a lamp or the ATZ 101A hook directly. The slot in the body takes a plastic chain, and the cones stack inside each other for storage.
For a 20 m route with a cone every 2 m you need 11 pieces. With the V6-50E that is just under 10.5 kg to carry, and with the V6-50EA about 26.4 kg.
Marker cones are for occasional marking. The 2024 edition of SR 1848-1 specifies orange instead of red for the V6 cone, so for work on a road in use choose an orange cone with honeycomb reflective bands, such as the V6-50R2E or V6-50R2. The whole range is under traffic cones. We deliver within 24-48 hours.
