Product description

Red marker cone, 50 cm

The marker cone is the simple red-and-white cone you move from place to place as often as needed. It is 50 cm high, has 2 white bands with red dots and a 28 x 28 cm octagonal base, and weighs 0.95 kg.

What it is for

Marking out areas where work is done on the road, where access is prohibited, in car parks or on building sites. It is also handy in yards, at car workshops or for marking a temporary route.

Economy

It belongs to the economy series: low price, low weight, matt colours. It is the right choice when you need many pieces for occasional use.

Technical data
  • 50 cm high;
  • 28 x 28 cm octagonal base;
  • 0.95 kg;
  • red with 2 white bands.
More stable

The same marker cone on a 38 cm, 2.4 kg black weighted base is the V6-50EA. For work on roads with traffic, choose a cone with honeycomb reflective bands, for example the V6-50R2E.

What the roadworks rules require (Order 1112/411/2000)

SR 1848-1:2024 provides the traffic cone (V6) to protect freshly applied markings, to mark off small works and to sign police crews at accident scenes. In a work-zone signing layout, cones belong to the signing that marks the works, together with barrier boards and markers, installed after the advance signing. The methodological rules approved by Order MI/MT no. 1112/411/2000 require temporary signing to be retroreflective at night wherever the existing signing is. Compared with the 2011 edition, SR 1848-1:2024 specifies orange instead of red for the V6 cone. This marker cone is red, so for roadworks signing choose an orange traffic cone, such as the V6-50R2 or V6-50AR2.

The contractor installs the signing to the layout approved by the road authority with the traffic police's agreement, maintains and completes it for the whole job and removes it at the end; accidents caused by incomplete or missing temporary signing are entirely the contractor's responsibility.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
