Economy PE traffic cone, 52 cm
The V6-50R2E is the 52 cm cone for anyone who needs lots of cones at a low price: a works crew, a building site or a large car park. It is made of PE (polyethylene), a flexible plastic, and weighs only 0.9 kg.
Economy versus premium
The economy series has a lower price, lower weight and matt colours. The premium PVC cone, the V6-50R2, has the same height and the same bands, but a brighter colour and weighs 1.3 kg.

Top of the cone
The cone comes with a loop moulded on top. To fit a plastic sign, a lamp or the ATZ 101A hook, cut off the loop: underneath is the Ø35 mm thread, which they screw straight into, with no adapter.
Chain and stacking
The plastic chain fastens at the top: screw the ATZ 101A hook into the thread, then fasten the chain to its ring with the ATZ 330A hook. That is how you link the cones together. The hooks and the chain are ordered separately. The cones stack inside each other, and the base has feet and channels that let the water drain.
What the roadworks rules require (Order 1112/411/2000)
SR 1848-1:2024 provides the traffic cone (V6) to protect freshly applied markings, to mark off small works and to sign police crews at accident scenes. In a work-zone signing layout, cones belong to the signing that marks the works, together with barrier boards and markers, installed after the advance signing. The methodological rules approved by Order MI/MT no. 1112/411/2000 require temporary signing to be retroreflective at night wherever the existing signing is. Compared with the 2011 edition, SR 1848-1:2024 specifies orange instead of red for the V6 cone, and this cone is orange.
The contractor installs the signing to the layout approved by the road authority with the traffic police's agreement, maintains and completes it for the whole job and removes it at the end; accidents caused by incomplete or missing temporary signing are entirely the contractor's responsibility.
