? Frequently asked questions

Which post should I choose for an ordinary road sign?

The Ø48.3 mm, 300 cm galvanised round post. The sign is fixed with 2 ATT 48c clamps.

Which clamp fits a Ø60 mm post?

The ATT 60c galvanised anti-rotation clamp, made for Ø60 mm; the ATT 48c only fits Ø48 mm posts. The matching cap for Ø60 mm is the ATT 60d.

What if I cannot pour a foundation?

Choose a flanged post, in Ø48 mm or Ø60 mm, which bolts onto concrete with fixings included free of charge. For temporary signage, the tripod stand needs no foundation at all.

Do the posts have an end cap?

Yes, the posts have a plastic cap at the top that keeps water out. The spare caps are the ATT 48d for Ø48 mm posts and the ATT 60d for Ø60 mm posts.

Can I fit a traffic mirror on these posts?

Yes. The ATZ 6080 and ATZ 6460 mirrors come with a fixing for posts between Ø48 and Ø85 mm, so they fit Ø48 and Ø60 mm posts.

Legal guarantee of conformity

The official European Union notice on the legal guarantee of conformity for goods bought by consumers. It explains the rights the law gives you; it is not an additional guarantee offered by ATTO TRAFIC.

Official EU notice “Legal guarantee”: minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. The full text is available below.
Text of the notice

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
