Beacon panels, bases and lamps, sold individually
These are the parts of the beacon sets, sold one by one. You buy them when you already have bases and only need panels, when you want to add a lamp to a beacon you own, or when you change the battery. The 25 x 100 cm panel
The V3-V4 has Class I film and the V3-V4_II Class II film. Both have yellow and red stripes on both faces and a black PE-HD body, weigh 2.5 kg and are 133 cm long including the ends. The bottom end is 60 x 60 mm with a galvanised steel Z insert, and the top end is a Ø43 mm pin that takes the lamp.
The PVC bases
- V2-15 – 15 kg, 75 x 38 x 11.5 cm, with 30 x 30, 50 x 50, 60 x 60 and 40 x 45 mm sockets, two of 15 x 30 mm and two Ø40 mm holes.
- V2-28 – 28 kg, 76 x 38 x 12.2 cm, with 40 x 40 and 60 x 60 mm holes and three of Ø50 mm.
The panel's foot goes into the 60 x 60 mm socket. Both bases have yellow reflective tape and also take mobile sign posts.
The lamps and the battery
The V8-Y is the battery lamp: LED, two-sided lens, flashing or steady light from a switch and an always-active twilight function. The battery is not included; it takes the V8-B67, a 4R25, 6V, 7-9 Ah zinc-carbon battery, non-rechargeable, 0.46 kg, which keeps the lamp running for about 360 hours, calculated at 7Ah. The ATZ 404-Y is the solar lamp, with a 1 W monocrystalline panel and a 3.7 V, 1500 mAh battery, 0.85 kg.
What fits what
- the V3-V4 and V3-V4_II panels fit both bases;
- the V8-Y clamps onto the panel's Ø43 mm pin;
- the ATZ 404-Y needs the ATE 184A adapter to sit on the panel. The adapter is black PPC, Ø40 mm and 9 cm high, fixed with a side screw.

Can I put a lamp on the beacon I have?
What battery does the V8-Y lamp take?
A 6V 4R25 battery, not included with the lamp: the V8-B67, 7-9 Ah, which gives about 360 hours, calculated at 7Ah. It is not rechargeable; when it runs down, you replace it.
Does the solar lamp need a separate battery?
No. The ATZ 404-Y has a 1 W solar panel and its own 3.7 V, 1500 mAh battery.
