Plastic chains
A plastic chain run between posts or cones turns a few separate points into a continuous barrier. It is used on building sites, in car parks, warehouses, queues and at events, anywhere you want to show clearly where people may not pass, without putting up a fence.
By the metre
They are polyethylene (PE) and sold by the metre: in the cart you choose the number of metres.
On 25 m rolls
- V1-801 – red-white, 8 mm;
- V1-802 – green-white, 8 mm;
- V1-803 – yellow-black, 8 mm;
- V1-602 – green-white, 6 mm;
- V1-603 – yellow-black, 6 mm.
The rolls are polypropylene (PP) and hold 25 m in one piece: 2.5 kg for 8 mm and 1.8 kg for 6 mm.
How to choose
Red-white for works and building sites, yellow-black for hazards and obstacles in halls, warehouses and car parks, green-white for parks and events where you want a quieter boundary. The 8 mm chain shows better from a distance; the 6 mm one is lighter and less conspicuous. For a route, measure from the first post to the last and add about 10% so the chain hangs slightly.
Attaching the chain
The chain ends are secured with the black ATZ 330A hook. The chain threads through the holes of portable delineator posts or the rings of the ATD 7580 steel bollard, and on traffic cones it hangs from the ATZ 101A hook. The ATS 11015-6668 and ATS 63315-6668 sets come with 2 posts and 2 m of chain. We deliver within 24-48 hours.

Should I choose 6 mm or 8 mm?
The 8 mm chain is heavier and more visible: a 25 m roll weighs 2.5 kg, against 1.8 kg for 6 mm. The 6 mm chain suits queues, indoor lanes and light posts.
