25 x 100 cm beacons with a yellow lamp on a 15 or 28 kg base, with a 6V battery or a solar panel.
Reflective film only shows when headlights hit it. A yellow lamp can be seen from distances the headlights do not reach, so a driver learns about the trench or the closed lane sooner. The beacons here are complete sets: a 25 x 100 cm panel with Class I film on both faces, a PVC base and a lamp that fits on the top end of the panel. They differ in two ways: the type of lamp and the weight of the base.
The V7b-15 (19.5 kg in total) and V7b-28 (32.5 kg) come with the V8-Y lamp and the V8-B67 6V, 7-9 Ah battery. The lamp has an LED, a two-sided lens and a switch for flashing or steady light. Its twilight function is always active, so it comes on by itself in the dark. It clamps onto the panel's Ø43 mm pin. On the battery in the set it runs for about 360 hours, calculated at 7Ah. When the battery runs down, you change it on the spot.
The ATS 15K-404 (18.5 kg) and ATS 28K-404 (31.5 kg) come with the ATZ 404-Y solar lamp and the ATE 184A adapter that holds it on the end of the panel. The 1 W monocrystalline solar panel charges the 3.7 V, 1500 mAh battery by day, and at night the lamp flashes on the stored energy. There are no batteries to change, which matters on a site that runs for weeks. Place the beacon so the solar panel is not in the shade of a machine or a building all day.
The 15 kg base measures 75 x 38 x 11.5 cm and is enough in town, where the wind is weaker. On open roads with wind and lorries, choose the 28 kg base, 76 x 38 x 12.2 cm; the set is easier to move with two people. Both simply sit on the asphalt, with no drilling.
SR 1848-1:2024 provides the marker with a flashing amber lamp (V7b) for signing work zones. The rules approved by Order MI/MT no. 1112/411/2000 allow temporary signing to be supplemented at night with flashing amber devices, and on main and connecting streets in towns they require temporary signs to be supplemented with such lamps.
Already have the beacon? The lamps, the battery and the adapter are sold separately under beacon bases and parts. Without a lamp, the sets are under weighted directional beacons. We deliver within 24-48 hours.
The V7b-15 and V7b-28 contain the V3-V4 beacon, the 15 or 28 kg base, the V8-Y lamp and the V8-B67 battery. The ATS 15K-404 and ATS 28K-404 contain the beacon, the base, the ATZ 404-Y solar lamp and the ATE 184A adapter.
The solar lamp has no batteries to change, but its panel needs light to charge. The battery lamp does not depend on the sun; when the battery runs down, you replace it.
With the 15 kg base, the V7b-15 weighs 19.5 kg and the ATS 15K-404 18.5 kg. With the 28 kg base, the V7b-28 weighs 32.5 kg and the ATS 28K-404 31.5 kg.
Class I film on both faces, with yellow and red stripes. The panel with Class II film, the V3-V4_II, is sold separately and fits the same bases.
No. The base sits on the road and its weight keeps the beacon upright.
