The 90 cm cone from the economy series on a 48 x 48 cm hexagonal weighted base. At 5.95 kg it is almost as heavy as the premium PVC version, the 6 kg V6-90AR2, so it stays put just as well.

Roads where the cone must be seen from far away and must not move: lane closures, works left overnight, diversions next to heavy traffic.
Material
Body in PE (polyethylene), a flexible, weather-resistant plastic in matt orange. The PE body is what keeps the price below that of the PVC cone.

What the roadworks rules require (Order 1112/411/2000)
SR 1848-1:2024 provides the traffic cone (V6) to protect freshly applied markings, to mark off small works and to sign police crews at accident scenes. In a work-zone signing layout, cones belong to the signing that marks the works, together with barrier boards and markers, installed after the advance signing. The methodological rules approved by Order MI/MT no. 1112/411/2000 require temporary signing to be retroreflective at night wherever the existing signing is. Compared with the 2011 edition, SR 1848-1:2024 specifies orange instead of red for the V6 cone, and this cone is orange.
The contractor installs the signing to the layout approved by the road authority with the traffic police's agreement, maintains and completes it for the whole job and removes it at the end; accidents caused by incomplete or missing temporary signing are entirely the contractor's responsibility.
