Hook for plastic chain, black
A chain running between posts has to stop somewhere. The ATZ 330A is the hook that holds the chain end in place: you clip it onto a link and hang the other loop on a post ring, a hole or another length of chain. That way you can join two lengths of chain sold by the metre, or open and close a lane quickly.
Shape and material
The hook is shaped like a figure 8, with two loops, and is open on one side, where the link goes in. It is made of black PPC plastic and weighs 60 g, so it adds no weight to the chain and does not rust outdoors.
Which chains it is for
It is designed for plastic chains: by the metre, for example the V1-80RW, V1-80YB or V1-60YB, and on rolls, for example the V1-801 or V1-803.
How many you need
Count the free ends: a chain between two posts needs 2 hooks, and each join between two lengths needs one more. For a lane that is opened every day, one hook at the moving end is enough.
For cones
If you hang the chain on cones, you need the red ATZ 101A hook, which fits into the tip of the cone.
