PVC traffic cone, 50 cm
The 50 cm cone is the one most used to close off a lane, an entrance or a parking bay quickly. It goes where work is being done on the carriageway, where access is prohibited, in car parks and on building sites, and is packed away just as quickly.
Material
It is made of PVC, the material of the premium series: bright orange, flexible and weather-resistant. If a car clips it, the cone bends instead of cracking.

Easy to move

With a weighted base, for windy spots, it is the V6-50AR2. The economy PE version is the V6-50R2E, and a taller 70 cm cone is the V6-70R2.
What the roadworks rules require (Order 1112/411/2000)
SR 1848-1:2024 provides the traffic cone (V6) to protect freshly applied markings, to mark off small works and to sign police crews at accident scenes. In a work-zone signing layout, cones belong to the signing that marks the works, together with barrier boards and markers, installed after the advance signing. The methodological rules approved by Order MI/MT no. 1112/411/2000 require temporary signing to be retroreflective at night wherever the existing signing is. Compared with the 2011 edition, SR 1848-1:2024 specifies orange instead of red for the V6 cone, and this cone is orange.
The contractor installs the signing to the layout approved by the road authority with the traffic police's agreement, maintains and completes it for the whole job and removes it at the end; accidents caused by incomplete or missing temporary signing are entirely the contractor's responsibility.
