Product description

Anti-slip sports court paint, blue, RAL 5015, 25 kg

On a tennis or basketball court with a blue surface, white lines stand out clearly. The ATP T-5015 is the paint for that background: blue RAL 5015, acrylic, one-component, with premixed quartz sand that makes the surface slip-resistant without dropping anything else onto it.

How many square metres per pail

The manufacturer gives a spread rate of 1.67 m²/kg at a 400 µm wet film, about 42 m² from a 25 kg pail. At 600 µm the spread rate drops to 1.11 m²/kg, so about 28 m². Once dry, the film is 230 µm and 350 µm thick respectively.

Colour durability

The pigments are UV-resistant, class UV1 under BS EN 1871, and the hiding power is HP4: over 95% at a 300 µm coat. The binder is pure acrylic resin and the finish is matt.

How it is applied

On dry, clean asphalt, with no primer. Stir the paint well with a mechanical stirrer and apply it unthinned, with a roller, brush or handgun, or with an air-assisted marking machine. The surface must be 5-45 °C and humidity below 80%. At 25 °C it dries in 25 minutes. Once a pail is opened, use all of it.

Storage and safety

It keeps for 12 months in the original sealed pail at 5-30 °C, away from heat, sunlight and frost. It is flammable, with a flash point of 15 °C, and is meant for trained users wearing gloves and safety glasses.

For the lines

Playing lines are painted with the white ATP T-9016. For the areas outside the lines, or for a green court, there is the ATP T-6024.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
