Plastic end cap for a Ø48 mm post
A sign post left open at the top fills with rainwater and rusts from the inside, where nobody sees it, until it gives way. The ATT 48d is the plastic cap that closes the end of Ø48 mm posts and keeps water out of the tube.

Fitting
The cap goes into the end of the post and is pushed fully home. The ribs hold it in place with no adhesive and no tools, and it takes seconds, before or after the sign is fitted.
Which posts
For Ø48 mm road sign posts. The sign itself is fixed to the post with ATT 48c galvanised anti-rotation clamps. For Ø60 mm posts, use the ATT 60d cap.
Where it is used
When installing new road sign posts, maintaining existing ones, replacing missing caps, or closing the end of any Ø48 mm tube on roads, in car parks or in yards.
