Yellow tactile guidance marking, 30x60 cm
The 30 x 60 cm rectangular tile covers as much as two 30 x 30 cm tiles, so a long route takes half as many pieces. The raised ribs run parallel to the 60 cm side, so the tile is laid with that side along the direction of travel.

How many tiles
1.67 tiles fit in one metre of a 30 cm wide route. A 10 m route takes 17 tiles, and 25 m takes 42.
Installation
The tile is bonded with epoxy adhesive, which is not included. The ribs line up from one tile to the next, so the route stays continuous for anyone following it with a white cane.
Where it is used
On long pavements, on platforms, in stations and airports, and along the corridors of public buildings. The stopping area in the same format is the ATE 8014 tactile STOP marking, and on light-coloured floors the black version, the ATE 8017, is used.
