One-component road marking paint, white RAL 9016, 25 kg
White is the basic colour of road markings: centre lines, pedestrian crossings, parking bays, arrows. The ATP 1K-9016 is the classic one-component paint for them: open the pail, mix it with a mechanical stirrer and apply it, with no catalyst. It is made from pure acrylic resin and titanium dioxide, with a matt finish.
How far it goes
At a 400 µm wet film, the theoretical consumption is 641 g/m², so a 25 kg pail covers about 39 m², roughly 390 m of 10 cm line or 260 m of 15 cm line.
Visible at night
The paint contains no beads. Dropped onto the fresh coat, ATP AC90 glass beads make it retroreflective: in EN 1436 tests, with 600 g/m² of paint and 400 g/m² of beads, the marking reached class R5 at first and R2 after 2 million wheel passes.
Application
With airless or air-assisted machines, and on small areas with a handgun, brush or roller. Thin by 3% at most. The surface must be 5-45 °C, humidity below 80%, and new asphalt should be left for 4-6 weeks. On concrete, apply the ATP PRIMER first. It dries in 25 minutes at 25 °C.
