Product description
Black thermoplastic for road markings, RAL 9017, 20 kg
On concrete or light-coloured asphalt, a white line is harder to see, especially in sunshine. A black border beside it increases the contrast. The ATA 4520 is a black RAL 9017 thermoplastic for such borders and for other markings that need black, hot-applied just like the white and yellow from the same range.
Application
It is melted at 180-210 °C and machine-applied in a 2-3 mm layer, at a humidity of 80% at most. It cools and sets in 2-4 minutes at 10 °C, so the lane is not closed for long.
Consumption
4 kg/m² at 2 mm and 6 kg/m² at 3 mm. A contrast border is narrow, so 20 kg goes a long way along a line.
