Product description
A 28 kg base for roads where the wind blows
On a main road, a lorry passing a metre from the beacon pushes a wave of air that easily knocks over anything not heavy enough. That is why this set comes with the large 28 kg base, almost twice the 15 kg version.
The base measures 75 x 36 x 14 cm, is made of PVC and has yellow reflective strips at the ends. Because it is longer, the beacon has a wider footprint in the direction the air pushes it. Bear in mind that, being heavy, it is easier to move with two people.
The panel
- 25 x 100 cm, with yellow and red stripes on both faces;
- Class I (EGP) reflective film;
- ABS, 2.4 kg, with a metal Z in the bottom foot that keeps it upright in the base.
What else fits the base
Besides the panel, the base has 40 x 40 and 60 x 60 mm holes and round Ø45 and Ø50 mm holes for the posts of mobile signs.
Versions
For sites worked at night on fast roads, the V7-28_II has the same base with Class II film. If you already have bases, the panel is also sold on its own (V3-V4).
