Product description
The standard left/right site beacon, on a 15 kg base
This is the beacon you see along road works in town: a narrow 25 x 100 cm panel with diagonal yellow and red stripes, set into a black base that sits on the asphalt. This set gives you both.
The panel
It is made of ABS, weighs 2.4 kg and has the reflector on both faces, in Class I (EGP) film. The square foot at the bottom has a Z-shaped metal insert that stiffens the panel exactly where it goes into the base and where it would bend most easily.
The base
The PVC base weighs 15 kg and measures 50 x 40 x 11 cm, with yellow reflective strips. It sits on the road with no holes in the asphalt, and one person can move it along with the work. Besides the slot for the panel it has other square and round holes that take the post of a mobile sign.
15 or 28 kg?
On streets and roads where wind is not a problem, 15 kg is enough. On open roads with lorries passing close to the beacon, choose the V7-28 on a 28 kg base. If it has to be seen from further away at night, there is also a Class II version, the V7-15_II.
