This is a version of the G31 (parking): below the letter P there is a bicycle and the words PARCARE BICICLETE (bicycle parking). SR 1848-1:2024 allows this information at the bottom of the sign.
Class I (RA1) sheeting returns 70 cd/(lx·m²) for white to the driver and has a 7-year service life, enough on roads where headlights are the only light: local, minor and private roads or quiet streets. In areas with street lighting, shop windows, advertising and dense urban traffic, however, SR 1848-2 requires prismatic class 2 or 3 sheeting.
It goes before places for parking or standing vehicles. The bottom of the sign may show: an arrow towards the car park and, where needed, the distance; a car symbol in the position in which it may park relative to the kerb; the P15 or P16 (pay parking) symbol; a text such as “Reserved for vehicles with a badge, CD”; the outline of a vehicle category, when the car park is reserved for it alone.
Like all information signs, it has a blue background on ordinary roads and a green one on motorways, and it goes level with the place it indicates. Advance signing, where needed, uses an identical sign at least 50 m ahead in towns or 150 m outside them.
Fixings for the post are included: 2 clamps for Ø48 mm posts and 4 bolts with nuts; clamps for Ø60 mm posts are available on request. The bottom edge of the sign goes 1.50–2.50 m above the road or kerb, and the edge nearest the road 0.50–2.0 m from the road platform. The sign must be visible from at least 50 m in built-up areas and 100 m outside them.
The post is ordered separately. For a fixed installation in a concrete foundation: the galvanised Ø48 mm post, 300 cm. For temporary use, with no foundation: the Ø48 mm tripod post, 120 cm. On concrete or paving, where you cannot dig: the Ø60 mm flange post, 300 cm, bolted down; for it, ask for the Ø60 mm clamps when you order.
The panel measures 50 x 65 cm.

SR 1848-1:2024 allows an arrow with the distance, the parking position relative to the kerb, the pay parking symbol, a reservation text or the outline of a vehicle category to be written here.
Yes. Where needed, an identical sign is used at least 50 m ahead in built-up areas and at least 150 m outside them; the distance is written in white at the bottom or on the P1 additional panel.
The bottom edge goes 1.50–2.50 m above the road or kerb, and the inner edge 0.50–2.0 m from the road platform. The pack holds 2 clamps for Ø48 mm posts and 4 bolts with nuts; clamps for Ø60 mm posts are available on request.
Where the sign does not compete with other lights: on roads and streets without strong lighting, on local, minor or private roads. In areas with many light sources (street lighting, shop windows, advertising), SR 1848-2 requires prismatic class 2 or 3 sheeting.
The sheeting is class I (RA1), with a 7-year service life. Under SR 1848-2, during that time retroreflection stays at no less than 80% of the initial minimum value and the sheeting stays bonded over at least 95% of the surface.

Yes. It is CE marked and complies with SR EN 12899-1:2007, the European standard for vertical road signs, and with SR 1848-1:2024, SR 1848-2:2011 and SR 1848-3:2011. The sheeting and the paint resist UV and weathering.
