Product description
Rubber traffic separator with a 45 cm TPU post
The base is black rubber, 100 x 25 cm and 10 cm high, and the whole separator weighs 15 kg, almost four times as much as one with a PPC base. The black TPU post is 45 cm tall and 8 cm in diameter and carries 2 yellow honeycomb reflective bands.
Visible from both directions
Each long side of the base has a yellow reflective strip, so the separator is marked for traffic coming from either direction.
Where it is used
To separate directions of travel or lanes near a junction and to mark out cycle lanes. At 45 cm, its post is the shortest among the separators with a post in this category.
Installation
The separator is fixed to the road surface with anchors and bolts, supplied in the box. It is 1 m long, so one piece covers one metre of line.
Rubber or PPC?
Compared with the PPC separators, the V18-1050 and V18-1070, the rubber base is wider (25 cm instead of 20), higher (10 cm instead of 8) and much heavier: 15 kg instead of 4. The colours differ too: black and yellow here, yellow and orange there.
With a taller post
The V18-2075 has the same rubber base with a 75 cm post.
