Product description
PPC traffic separator with a 70 cm flexible post
This is the tall version of the plastic-base separator: the same yellow base, 100 x 20 cm and 8 cm high, with a 70 cm orange TPU post. The post carries 3 white metallised reflective bands, one more than the 50 cm model, and the base has 2 red cat's eyes.
Where it goes
On roads where directions of travel or lanes need separating, especially on the approach to junctions, and along the edge of cycle lanes. Of the plastic-base separators, this one has the tallest post.
Material
The base is PPC (polypropylene copolymer) and the post is TPU, a flexible material: when something brushes it, the post bends and springs back.
Installation and quantities
Each separator is 1 m long, weighs 4 kg and is fixed at 4 points with the 4 anchors and 4 bolts included. Along a 25 m turning lane, a continuous line means 25 pieces; spacing them out brings the number down.
SR 1848-1:2024
Placement follows SR 1848-1:2024. The separator can be used as a temporary marking or stay in place as a permanent solution.
The lower version
The V18-1050 uses the same base with a 50 cm post and 2 reflective bands.
