Product description
PPC traffic separator with a 50 cm flexible post
A traffic separator physically divides two lanes or two directions of travel where the line on the asphalt is not enough: on the approach to a junction, along a turning lane, at the edge of a cycle lane. This one has a yellow PPC base, 100 x 20 cm and 8 cm high, holding an orange TPU post 50 cm tall.
What shows at night
The post carries 2 white metallised reflective bands and the base has 2 red cat's eyes. By day the yellow and orange do the work; at night the headlights pick up the reflectors.
The flexible post
TPU is an elastic material. If a wheel or a wing mirror clips the post, it bends and returns to its original position instead of snapping.
Installation
The base is fixed at 4 points with 4 anchors and 4 bolts, supplied in the box. Each piece weighs 4 kg and is 1 m long, so a continuous 10 m line takes 10 separators placed end to end.
Temporary or permanent
Placement follows SR 1848-1:2024. The separator can serve as a temporary marking while roadworks or a traffic diversion last, or stay in place as a permanent solution.
The taller version
The V18-1070 uses the same base with a 70 cm post and 3 reflective bands.
