Product description

Public Traffic Prohibited Sign, 70x30 cm, Class I

The “Public traffic prohibited” sign shows that a forest road is closed to public traffic: a 70 x 30 cm red panel with a white border and the white words CIRCULAȚIA PUBLICĂ INTERZISĂ on two lines.

Where it goes

Under normative ID-001-15, it goes with the forest road name sign on every road closed to public traffic, on the same post, below it. It is not used on forest roads designated for access to neighbouring villages.

Size and text

The letters are 60 mm high, on two lines, and the text is fixed, not made to order. In the grouping of the normative's Annex VIII, this panel is the lowest on the post, with its bottom edge 1.20 m above the ground.

When class I is used

Class I (RA1) sheeting returns 70 cd/(lx·m²) for white to the driver and has a 7-year service life, enough on roads where headlights are the only light, such as forest roads. In areas with street lighting, shop windows, advertising and dense urban traffic, however, SR 1848-2 requires prismatic class 2 or 3 sheeting.

Legal guarantee

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information on your rights in a specific country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller. europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement.

Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
