Two-component cycle lane paint, green, RAL 6024, 10 kg
Cycle lanes wear unevenly: the stretch at a junction or at a car park entrance, where cars also drive, wears much faster than the rest. For repairs like these, or for a short lane, the ATP 2K-6024/10 brings the same green RAL 6024 cold plastic as the 20 kg version in a 10 kg pail. Less material is left over, and the colour matches the rest of a lane painted with the same range.
How far it goes
At 1.5-2 kg/m², the pail covers 5-6.5 m², or 5-6.5 m of a 1 m wide lane.
Working with the catalyst
The catalyst goes in once the product has been stirred: 2% at +5 °C and 1% at +10, +20 and +30 °C. Working time shortens as it gets warmer, from 20 minutes at +5 °C to 6 minutes at +30 °C, and curing takes between 55 and 20 minutes. Only mix as much as you can spread in that time, and prepare the area first.
Where it can go
On dry, clean asphalt, with any old marking that no longer adheres removed. It is not recommended over other paints, thermoplastic or tapes. On new asphalt, wait 4-6 weeks, and the surface must be between +5 and +30 °C.
